This cropped shirt is made with hand-twisted cotton – seriously –the kind Gandhi was spinning in that famous photo. You can see the hand-twisted yarn if you see the fabric in the light – it has thick ‘slubs’ made during the hand twisting process.
At the end, we put a navy and terracotta yarn–dyed stripe. Then we repeated it a bit in the sleeve.
Flattering pin tucks at front and back neck, as well as in the sleeve keep this shirt fitted through the chest and shoulders but relaxed and comfy through the waist and hem.
